The president of Minor Leauge Baseball today showed his frustration at the lack of urgency to build the Potomac Nationals a new stadium.
A Woodbridge man was arrested in Stafford for a homicide that occurred in Arlington County.
The Stafford Sheriff’s Office assisted the US Marshall in arresting Daejon Tyrie Jones, 23, of Woodbridge on Sunday. Law enforcement officials were called to Flint Court near Colonial Forge High School, where the arrest was made.

Transportation officials in Prince William County identified seven projects at the cost of $9.35 million that need to be completed ahead of a new Potomac Nationals baseball stadium.
These roadway improvements are all centered around the site of the $35 million proposed baseball stadium, which sits at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center, between a Wegmans grocery store and Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center.

The smell of natural gas permeated Tacketts Mill.
Crews were working nearby the Lake Ridge shopping center Monday afternoon to repair a six-inch gas line that ruptured hours earlier. Fire and rescue crews were called to the area at 9:45 a.m. for a report of a gas leak.
Harry Jackson Hensley, Sr., age 71, of Haymarket, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Novant Health Haymarket Medical Center.
He was born on October 10, 1945 in Haymarket, Virginia the son of the late Nathan J. and Irene B. (Payne) Hensley. He retired from the Aqua Coating Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan R. Hensley.
