MARY VIRGINIA LUSBY, age 91, died peacefully on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Prince William Hospital in Manassas, Virginia. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Lusby Jr. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Lusby and Karen (Mark) Watjen; three grandchildren, Mark (Jennifer)Watjen Jr., Christopher Watjen, and Bethany Watjen; three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Angel, and Jaxson, three sisters, Betty Farr, Peggy (Lee) Conley, and Nancy Farr, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00am-12:00pm on Monday, July 24,2017 at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home 4143 Dale Boulevard Dale City, VA 22193, funeral service to follow at 12:00pm. A study of school speed zones will be conducted ahead of a public hearing on an effort to slow traffic in front of the new Colgan High School.

Prince William County schools officials want to erect flashing signs near the school on both the north and southbound sides of the highway. When flashing, the signs would require drivers to slow from 55 mph to 35 mph on school days between 7 and 8 a.m. and 1:40 to 2:40 p.m.
