Paul Frederick Barnard, age 84 of Bluemont, VA died on September 11, 2017 at Stone Springs Hospital Center. Survivors include his children Christopher Michael Barnard, Claire Marie Barnard, Anne Marie Ertel, Kathleen Barnard Doyle, Eileen Marie Barnhard and Laurie Marie Giuliani; three sisters Elizabeth Flanagan, Theresa Flanagan and Sister Jeanne Barnard. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15 N. Reid Street, Hamilton, VA with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
WOODBRIDGE — Police are investigating a string of armed robberies that occurred Sunday and Monday in the Woodbridge area.
The robbers brandished firearms in each of the incidents. The description of the suspects in each a case is similar.
Richard Darius Walton, born in Halifax County, VA (South Boston), age 36, departed this life in Fairfax Hospital on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
