"Linda Louise Garcia-Cuesta age 68, peacefully passed away on September 20, 2017 in Opelika, Alabama surrounded by her children and husband.
She was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on October 1,1948, the daughter of the late Alphonse Perrotta and Margaret Wardiero. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband Javier Garcia Cuesta; her two children Carlos Garcia Cuesta and Cristina Cuesta-Hammad; son-in-law Raed Hammad; daughter-in-law Virginia Gonzalez-Cuesta; brother John Joseph Perrotta; sister-in-law Angela Mary Perrotta; brother-in-law Francisco Garcia Cuesta; 9 grandchildren; and many loving friends and extended family.

WOODBRIDGE — About 40 people gathered at Harbor View conference center in Woodbridge at 7 p.m. Thursday for the capstone event of a daylong series of events to discuss the future of a passenger ferry that could, someday, provide commuter service between Prince William County and Washington, D.C.
“We need to use our region’s last unused highway, the Potomac River,” said Prince William Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank Principi, whose long pushed for the creation of a “fast ferry” from Woodbridge to Washington.

The investigation revealed the victim, an 18-year-old woman, was in a park in the above area when she was approached by a masked man.
