Verni Geis Cullen, age 64 of Manassas, VA died at her residence on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
She is the loving wife of Barry J. Cullen; loving mother of Barry Joseph Cullen, his wife Carolyn and their child Penelope Grace; William Edward Cullen and his wife Elizabeth and their children Greer Catherine, William Mitchel and John Langford; Amanda Caggiano and her husband Peter and their children Alexander Joseph, Harvey Ryan and Mica Marie; daughter of Edward and Ruth Geis; sister of Judith Klinger.

Shooting into a Residential Dwellings – On October 21 at 3:39PM, officers responded to the 2500 block of Sedgewick Pl in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed that sometime between 5:00AM and 5:30AM, several shots were fired from behind the residences. Later that afternoon, several bullet holes were discovered on three townhomes. Officers searched the surrounding area and did not locate any shell casings. No injuries or other property damage were reported.

GAINESVILLE — Delegate Tim Hugo today joined local leaders to promote new legislation that would require Dominion to bury a new powerline in Haymarket.
Following the election, Hugo said he would work with state lawmakers to draft legislation that would not only force Dominion Energy to bury a 230kv, five-mile-long power line to a new data center in Haymarket, but also bury lines where the prospect of overhead powerlines threatens property values elsewhere in the state.
