Michael “Mike” Henry Olejarz, Jr., age 79, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his home in Haymarket, VA of congestive heart failure.
During his 36 year career with the Central Intelligence Agency, Mike served as Operations Officer and Instructor. His assignments included tours in South America and numerous temporary posting throughout the world. Mike was awarded the prestigious Intelligence Commendation Medal for his outstanding service.

Fatal Crash Investigation – On September 29 at 2:14PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 9300 block of Brentsville Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a two vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 1997 Ford F350 was traveling westbound on Brentsville Rd when the vehicle crossed over the double yellow line and collided head on with the driver of a 2005 Ford Ranger who was traveling eastbound on Brentsville Rd. The driver of the 2005 Ford Ranger was eventually flown to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries on September 30. The driver of the Ford F350 was also flown to an area hospital with serious injuries. It is unknown at this time if speed or drug use are factors in this crash. Charges are pending. The investigation continues.

Rita Jean Evans (Mollon) of Lake Ridge, Virginia departed this life on Wednesday, September 27,2017. Rita was a devoted wife to husband, James William Evans Jr.; loving mother to son, Keith Wilkens; cherished sister to brother, Frederick Mollon, and sisters; Shirley (Jerry) Bruinsma, and Diane (Robert) Fenlason; and devoted grandmother to her only grandchild, Brian Wilkens. Rita was an active member of Connection Church in Woodbridge, Virginia.

At 2:57 a.m. City of Manassas Fire and Rescue units responded to a two-alarm fire in the 9000 block of McRae Court. Upon arrival, units saw fire showing from a middle unit to the rear of the house. In total, fire damaged three town homes. Fourteen adults and five children have been displaced. Currently, the families are attempting to find shelter with friends and family. Fire Marshal Hartnett is on scene.
Elaine Campbell Baisden passed away at her home in Alexandria, Virginia, on September 30, 2017, after a long struggle with vascular dementia. She is survived by her husband, James K. Baisden, Col. (USAF) Ret.; sons and daughters in-law, James B. and Patty Baisden; Kenneth Baisden and Siri Ekbom; and four grandchildren, Thomas Brett Baisden, Virginia Baisden, Elsa Ekbom, and Noah Ekbom. She also has one surviving brother, Ralph Dove, and was preceded in death by her brothers Lawrence and Glenn, and her sisters Yvonne and Ardene.
Elaine was born on October 28, 1937, in Gardendale, Michigan, the daughter of the late John Harvey Dove and Louisa Campbell Dove. She spent her early years in St. Clair County, Michigan, and later moved to Lewisburg, Ohio, and graduated from Lewisburg High School. She attended the University of Dayton and the University of Connecticut.
Terry is survived by his parents Lisa and Terry Sr. Cunningham; Maternal grandparents Charlotte and Danny Lucas; Sister Lynsey Bowers and husband Tyler; nephews Athan and Rowan Bowers; Uncle Ron Lucas; as well as his fiancée Edith Rodriguez and their precious son Mason Terry Cunningham.
The family will hold a visitation at Baker Post Funeral Home, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia on Saturday October 7, 2017 between the hours of 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
