PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — Melvin Reynolds never envisioned himself as a foster parent.
But he took in his first youth in need, a 17-year-old boy, seven years ago. Reynolds worked with youth in residential care and then, one day, found himself taking care of foster children in his Montclair home.
Good Morning Prince William – ACTS in Dumfries invites you to the next NAMI Family to Family Education Program beginning June 19th.
This is a free 12 session education program for family, partners, and friends of adults living with mental illness. This course is designed to help all family members understand and support their loved one living with mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. Thousands of families describe this program as life-changing. The class will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6-9pm, June 19-July 31st. Commercial Burglaries – During the early morning hours of June 9, officers responded to investigate five commercial burglaries that occurred throughout the Woodbridge area of Prince William County.
Michelle Davis-Younger was the top vote winner at a firehouse primary in Manassas.
Democrats held the vote at Central Library on Saturday to find out who will be their candidates for three open seats on the Manassas City Council. An election will be held November 6.
