DUMFRIES — A Toyota SUV overturned in Dumfries.
Rescue crews were called to the intersection of Route 1 and Curtis Drive about 3:50 p.m.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. Wednesday just before milepost 47 — the exit for Sudley Road / Route 234 Business near Manassas.

STAFFORD — Stafford officials say they don’t want trailer classrooms to become the status quo at county schools.
The School Board failed to pass the Board of Supervisors’ appropriation of $99,500 for the purchase and furnishing of a modular trailer classroom unit for Hartwood Elementary School.

Shooting Investigation – On July 23 at 8:52AM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Idaho Street in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. Officers responded to the area and located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body.

While past drug epidemics have tended to hurt certain socio-economic groups more strongly than others, the opioid epidemic is devastating individuals from every race, gender, and economic background.
STAFFORD — Two more men are wanted in connection to a shooting in Stafford County last month.
The June 25 shooting at a home on Knollwood Court in the northern portion of the county injured one person. The county sheriff’s office just released the names of the two additional suspects in the case.
