PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — On March 25 at 9:25 p.m. police were called to investigate a carjacking.

The victim, a 48-year-old man, reported to police that he left the vehicle running and entered the store. Upon returning to his vehicle, the victim found a strange man inside the car. A struggle ensued resulting in the victim being pushed away and the suspect fleeing in the victim’s vehicle.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press release) Manassas National Battlefield Park is preparing for a prescribed fire between March 26 and April 5, 2019.

These dates may be extended depending upon weather conditions. The planned fire will be in the Deep Cut area of the battlefield, encompassing approximately 40 acres of open fields and brush.

Timothy James Kilday Jr. was born at Arlington Hospital in Arlington, Virginia on October 4, 1958 to Delsie and Timothy Kilday Sr. He left this life on March 25, 2019 after a long battle with cancer.

Tim was raised in Woodbridge, Virginia and attended Belmont Elementary and Woodbridge High School. He enjoyed reading and loved animals, in particular dogs. He had a Dalmatian named Caesar who was his best friend. He lived with his parents on Fitzhugh Lane for his whole life. He is survived by his father Timothy Sr, his mother Delsie, his sister Patricia Sanders and his brothers Paul (Griselday) Kilday and Edward Kilday. All of whom will miss him and hold tight to his memory.

Robert A. Richbourg, age 81 passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2019 in his home in Woodbridge, Virginia with his beloved wife Patricia of 60 years and immediate family around him. He was born on November 1, 1937 in Tacoma Park, MD to Henry A. and Grace (Vancourt Jones) Richbourg. He was a 1955 graduate of Washington Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia. He married Patricia A. Giordano on November 15, 1958 in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Washington, DC.

As husband and wife, they raised three children in Falls Church, Virginia where they resided for 57 years. They were members of St. James Catholic Parish. In June 2016, they relocated to Woodbridge, Virginia to be closer to family and made many new friends in their retirement community. Bob enjoyed and delighted in the daily wildlife from his backdoor. He watched many deer, a hunter’s paradise.
