(Press Release) Broadcom Foundation and Society for Science & the Public recently announced the Top 300 competitors in the 9th annual Broadcom MASTERS competition, two of which are from Manassas.
The Broadcom MASTERS, a program of the Society for Science & the Public, is the nation’s premier Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) competition for middle school students.
University of Mary Washington Theatre will kick off its season with The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield.
Long, Singer, and Winfield were also the first actors to perform The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) as members of The Reduced Shakespeare Company.
Manassas Commissioner of the Revenue Douglas Waldron was honored by becoming one of the first localities in Virginia to achieve office accreditation.
