Crews were called at 4:59 a.m. Sunday to a single-story home in the Brookfield section of Stafford County, near Town and Country Drive.

Jack was a teacher with the Alexandria City School System for 34 years. He enjoyed his amateur radio and was a member of the Woodbridge Wireless (WWI). In his free time, he liked building and operating model planes; both with and without engines. He also went to the shooting range with his buddy whenever he could. His passion in life was his grandchildren.
