Stafford residents will have a new commuting option starting Monday, November 4, when OmniRide begins operating two new Express bus routes from the Staffordboro Commuter Lot with service to L’Enfant Plaza and the Pentagon.

The two new routes received a green light today from the Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB), as part of the Commuter Choice program on the I-395/95 corridor.


Thomas Q. Miller, Jr., an avid fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast, died on October 19, he was 60.

Tommy recently retired from the DEA after 22 years of service. He previously held various other positions around the Northern Virginia area. He also worked for Woodward & Lothrop for 17 years.

Ida M. Salzillo, 85, of Woodbridge, died October 21, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Salzillo.  Mrs. Salzillo is survived by her children, Tina Barnett (William), Linda Oliva, and Vincent Salzillo; and her grandchildren, Danielle Chilton, Jasmine, Anthony, and Ava Oliva.

She was a food service worker for Prince William County Schools for 10 years. She enjoyed watching Nascar races, and the Dallas Cowboys.

The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation will host a sensory-friendly screening of the film Superpower Dogs this Saturday, October 26 at 11:00 a.m. at the National Museum of the Marine Corps.
