Press release | Businesses in Prince William County must complete and file an annual recycling report with the Department of Public Works by February 15.

Section 22-169 of the Prince William County Code requires all businesses and other non-residential properties that produce trash within the county to report on its activities by February 15 of each year for the previous calendar year. Home-based businesses and businesses located within the incorporated towns of Dumfries, Haymarket, Occoquan, or Quantico are exempt from filing this report.

Rappahannock Women’s Health Center, one of the region’s largest women healthcare providers, says it will no longer deliver babies at Mary Washington Hospital.

A sign that was posted to the doctor’s office door in Fredericksburg notes the final day the practice will provide services at Mary Washington is Feb. 7, 2020.

Correction: Stafford to lease 10 parking spaces for commuters

Taxpayers are about to give the owner of a shopping center in Stafford County about $1,300 ~~$24,000~~ to lease 10 parking spaces over the course of six months.

The George Washington Regional Commission will pay $1 per space, per workday to lease at the Claiborne Run Shopping Center, located at 1 Jadip Lane in Falmouth.

9 p.m. | Authorities tell us two drivers involved in a crash today on White Oak Road in Stafford County have died.

Both unidentified drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment following the crash.
