Construction crews will continue to demolish the Route 652 (Truslow Road) overpass, which is located between Interstate 95 Exit 133 (Route 17) and Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway), in Stafford County.

Novant Health UVA Health System Prince William Medical Center recently became one of the first hospitals in Northern Virginia to offer robotic-arm assisted total knee and partial knee replacements with Stryker’s Mako System.
This advanced robotic technology assists the surgeon and improves accuracy, the hospital tells us. It is using the Mako Total Knee application, which is a knee replacement treatment option designed to relieve the pain caused by joint degeneration due to osteoarthritis. Through CT-based, 3D modeling of bone anatomy, surgeons can use the Mako System to create a personalized surgical plan and identify the implant size, orientation, and alignment based on each patient’s unique anatomy.

Those who are opposed to taller buildings spoke out at Monday’s Manassas City Council meeting.
A public hearing for the city’s 2040 compressive plan was advertised, and it what drew residents to come to speak on the matter. The city plan calls for a more urban downtown, with more apartments centered around the city’s train station used by Amtrak and Virginia Railway Express.

Police press release | On February 7 at 7:54 p.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 4600 block of Telfair Ct. in Dale City to investigate a shots fired call.
Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area. The investigation revealed that the accused fired several rounds into the ground in front of his home in the presence of a juvenile family member identified a 13-year-old male.
