


It’s Virginia Restaurant Takeout Week, and restaurants in the state are reeling due to lack of business following the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Gov. Ralph Northam has limited the number of people who can be inside a restaurant at one time to 10 people, so customers this week are encouraged to call ahead to their favorite restaurant and order out.

3rd annual free community event that brings our neighbors right to our parking lot for a day of fun. Trick or Treating, games, raffle, photo booth, free food!

Since 2005, House of Mercy has been servicing the NoVA community through their food pantry and thrift store, but recently, their efforts have shifted to something new: making masks for local healthcare workers.
The idea came in part from executive director Jessica Root’s mother, who is a nurse in New York. She suggested Root do something to prepare Virginia healthcare professionals for COVID-19.
