William Fred Anderson, 65, died April 7, 2021 in Woodbridge Virginia. He was born in Portsmouth Virginia hospital May 24, 1955. Fred graduated from Woodbridge Senior High and worked at George Mason College as a boiler master. He was injured while employed there. Later he was an over the road truck driver for 34 years.
Fred loved to ride his Harley. He was adventurous. Fred loved to read books and read the bible 6 times. He loved music and loved board games and always up for playing cards. On his good days, he could always make you laugh.
Spotted Tavern Farm at Dodd’s Corner is a place where past and present meet.
It was the site of Civil War encampments and skirmishes also housed the Burdis U.S. Post Office from 1909 to 1933 and has been in continuous agricultural use for more than 100 years.

I say it will go up. I don’t see it going down. I think people are going to maintain their offices, and more employees are going to be working remotely.

Prince William County Department of Development Services issued changes to its building requirements for new data centers.
Data center design plans will be required to include all areas of new structures to meet the VUSBC minimum requirements for occupancy. Areas in the building not designated for immediate use shall require design plans for either Storage (S-1) Use Group or Business (B) Use Group, to meet the VUSBC minimum requirements.

SES, a global satellite connectivity and content provider, will consolidate offices in a new facility in Gainesville and establish its U.S. technology and operations hub.
The Prince William County Department of Economic Development competed with Maryland and Washington, D.C. for the project, which will create more than 200 new jobs and includes a $17 million investment from SES to expand its operations.

Prince William County Department of Development Services announced a series of enhancements to ePortal, a system business owners use to obtain permits. The changes will begin Monday, April 26.
Over the last six months, Building Development Division staff have dedicated time and resources to develop new digital assets and online services for customers, delivering on the Power of ePortal, which improves communications across organizational boundaries, reduces administrative burdens, leading to quicker decision-making and increased productivity, according to a press release.

Gwendolyn O. Hano passes on April 8, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.
