Much of this the activity in this active investigation appears to be centered on the building the houses the offices of the National Religious Broadcasters headquarters. MANASSAS, Va. — Old Town Manassas, or “Merry Old Town,” is set to light up again, literally, to ring in the 2013 Christmas season.
Lights have been strung around the popular old town shopping district where many locally-owned stores and restaurants are located. And several events are planned throughout the first few weeks of the month to help usher in the holiday spirit, including the 67th Annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade and a visit from Santa Claus.

Historic Dumfries’ 2nd Annual Victorian Holiday Silent Auction was held at the Dumfries – Triangle Rescue Squad. About 200 people came to the event, each purchasing a ticket for $5 each to support the town’s museum, the Weems-Botts House, which served as the home of George Washington’s biographer.
