If Harry Wiggins didn’t single handedly hand over the election to Jackson Miller, he certainly helped him along to victory.

Wiggins, the Chairman of Prince William’s Democratic Committee on Tuesday likened Miller — a long-serving Republican in the House of Delegates, past Manassas City Counselor, and a former police officer in Arlington and Prince William counties — to President Trump, and called both white supremacists.


WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Environmental officials on Tuesday said the EPA continues to investigate the release of 27 million gallons of water from a Prince William County coal ash pond in 2015.

Dominion Power, which owns the pond next to the Possum Point Power Station on the Potomac River near Dumfries, released the untreated water in April 2015. While the EPA is investigating this specific water release, Virginia Department of Environmental Quality Northern Virginia Regional Director Tom Faha said discharged was allowed under the state-issued permit Dominion was using at the time.


WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A long-standing relationship between Virginia’s Department of Motor Vehicles and the Prince William County Voter Registrar could be coming to an end. 

A voter registration office at the Woodbridge DMV Customer Service Center — an office in which the county does not pay rent to use — could be reclaimed by the DMV to make up for lost revenue.

“Longtime conservative leader, 2014 U.S. Senate nominee and 2017 Republican candidate for governor Ed Gillespie won the straw poll at the Prince William County GOP Lincoln-Reagan Dinner Saturday night with over 60 percent of the vote.


Democrat Jacqueline Smith and Republican Delegate Jackson Miller (Manassas) are the two candidates who will face off on for an April 18, 2017, special election. The chosen candidate will replace the late Michele McQuigg who died late last month.

Homicide Investigation – On March 4 at 2:33PM, officers responded to the Burlington Coat Factory located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the suspect was observed shoplifting inside the store. Two loss prevention employees confronted the suspect as he exited the business.
