As part of a biannual listening tour, Stafford County residents may ask questions of school officials about issues that matter to them. 

There were questions about the county’s population and its projected effects on school growth were the topics of several questions, and confusion about the county’s soon-to-be-built sixth high, and 18th elementary schools.


Delegate Jennifer Carroll Foy is touring the state in support of her fellow Democratic candidates who vow to push for ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment.

Foy has spent much time traveling the state this year, stumping for other Democrats in their respective districts, championing the ERA cause.


The Nationals victory parade is set for 2 p.m. at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and 15th Street NW.

OmniRide will provide regularly-scheduled Saturday bus service between Woodbridge and the Franconia-Springfield Metro station via it’s Metro Express service.


The Stafford County Board of Supervisors is asking residents to borrow up to $50 million for multiple road improvements.

Why it matters: If approved, the county would go into debt in order to pay for the road projects, limiting its ability to borrow money for other local government needs.
