Police charged a Woodbridge man with indecent liberties with a child after they say he exposed himself to two children during an online school tutoring session.

The two victims in the case are a 10-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. Police also say the suspect physically abused one boy during a tutoring session inside the child’s home.

Salamanders can indicate the health of upland, wooded environments, as well as the health of areas surrounding waterways.

Some of the waterways in Prince William County include streams, which were restored primarily to keep sediment out of the Chesapeake Bay, but it is uncertain if a restored stream makes a good habitat for salamanders and other amphibians.


The Route 1 northbound traffic shift at the Potomac Creek bridge in Stafford County is now set for Friday, March 5 after being postponed last month.

Both northbound travel lanes will remain open. But as construction on the bridge replacement project enters the next phase, northbound traffic will be shifted around 20 feet to the right to cross Potomac Creek. This shift allows crews to build the northbound lanes on the new bridge.
