MANASSAS — Manassas is holding its 15th annual Jazz festival on Saturday, June 15 which will include food, drink, and music to enjoy.
The event will be held on the lawn of the Manassas Museum, from noon to 7 p.m. A VIP entrance will open at 11 a.m.

FREDERICKSBURG — Appealing to conservative values, Paul Milde has secured his place on the November 5 General Election.
Milde, a former Stafford County Supervisor, on Tuesday ran against Republican Bob Thomas, who held the 28th District House of Delegates seat since 2018 and won.
STAFFORD — Qasim Rashid won his bid to be the Democratic nominee for Virginia Senate 28th District seat.
He beat his opponent, former Stafford County Board of Supervisors member Laura Sellers, by 377 votes. Rashid won Tuesday’s Primary Election with 61% of the vote, with a total of 5,498 ballots cast.

The appointed Neabsco District Supervisor easily beat his Primary Election opponent Aracely Panameno on Tuesday.
STAFFORD — The Stafford Board of Supervisors has decided to move forward with plans of a bond referendum in order to help fund transportation projects. Developing a funding plan for transportation is listed as one of Stafford’s 2040 strategic priorities.
County officials say 10 major road construction projects are desperately needed after they reviewed the results of a year-long Comprehensive Road Study. Together the 10 projects cost $180 million based on preliminary estimates.
