OmniRide today announced several changes to help protect the public and OmniRide employees from the coronavirus outbreak.
OmniRide’s Local and Metro Express services are now providing users riders free of charge. These buses provide service between Manassas and western Prince Willliam County to the Tysons Corner Metro station, and from Woodbridge to the Franconia-Springfield Metro station.

Fredericksburg City officials have taken their first public health action since declaring a state of emergency: The city will limit the number of customers in a restaurant or bar to just 10 people per establishment.
The move is in response to recent announcements made by both Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam and President Donald Trump, both of whom ordered identical restrictions.

Mary Washington Healthcare is hoping to ward off the spread of coronavirus by no longer allowing visitors at area facilities.
According to a press release, to minimize the risk to their patients and staff, Mary Washington Healthcare is taking extraordinary measures. Effective Sunday, March 15, 2020, at 8:00 p.m., Mary Washington Healthcare facilities, including Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital, will no longer allow visitors.
The ink will have time to dry at the Manassas police station.
City police announced they temporarily stop fingerprinting services at the station.
