This week, the Virginia Department of Transportation shared a new photo of beams being hoisted into place. The beams, about 100 feet above the river, will hold the bridge deck in place.
Noise complaints from neighbors are nothing new for the Stafford Regional Airport Authority, charged with managing the airport.
However, a new age-restricted housing development, Clift Hill, will bring 142 new homes slated to be built about seven miles away from the airport. Airplanes can be noisy, and while there are no penalties for noise complaints, the authority wants the county government to notify anyone into the Clift Hill that they’re going to have to deal with aircraft noise.
A security guard attacked a man inside of a Chipotle restaurant near Manassas on Friday, January 8, police said.
The victim’s crime — he wasn’t wearing a facemask at the time he entered the restaurant, according to police.
An employee of a business on Redoubt Road, near the Manassas Regional Airport, started a car to let it warm up. In the process, flames engulfed the vehicle, police say.
