Manassas Park officials today told us they are aware of problems at a railroad crossing at the center of town, and that they’re working with the Norfolk Southern Railroad to fix the issue.

The crossing arms are lowering when there is no train approaching, creating delays along Manassas Drive.


Parents slammed the Prince William County School Board this week for its approval of a new equity statement that overhauling the content, and the methods of how children are taught, addressing disparities between the schools in the division and hiring new teachers based on race.

Suspect in stabbing arrested 

Malicious Wounding – On May 20, the suspect sought in connection with the stabbing that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 13900 block of Mathews Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) on May 16, was arrested. The suspect, Malila SMITH, was located and taken into custody by members of the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
