On May 10, 2017, at 7:30 a.m., Deputy J.J. Kreider was westbound on South Gateway Drive when he observed a subject he recognized driving a green SAAB traveling east. Deputy Kreider knew the subject’s driving privilege was currently suspended due to multiple prior driving convictions.
A new name will be added to Prince William County’s War Memorial, on the grounds of the county’s government center in Woodbridge.

Work to repair a bridge that carries traffic on Interstate 95 over the Neabsco Creek in Dale City is again postponed.
The work will now take place Friday, May 19 through Monday, May 22.

Starting July 1, residents will pay $198 more per year on their property tax bills, bringing the average residential city tax bill to $3,929. It’s about a 5% increase over the previous year’s budget.

There were some tense moments today for passengers on board a small jet that landed at Manassas Regional Airport.
Four people were aboard a Cessna Citation 1 that took off in Culpeper bound for Indianapolis that sustained engine failure on one of its two engines. The right engine lost power, according to Manassas City spokeswoman Patty Prince.

Manassas City Police is requesting the public’s help to locate a missing endangered adult. His name is Sherman “Jerry” ROBARGE, an 83-year-old citizen of Manassas. Jerry is described as a white male 5’9 190 lbs with white hair and blue eyes. Jerry was last seen wearing a plaid shirt with suspenders, cargo pants and white Velcro shoes and may be driving a 2016 Toyota Highlander (Green) bearing Virginia plates “VLB 3632”.
