The one-day leadership conference, founded by John C. Maxwell and streamed to only 300 host sites worldwide, will be held February 10, 2026, at the Fredericksburg Convention Center. The event will feature global speakers, interactive leadership sessions, and networking tailored to the local business community.

We were doing a little shopping along Caroline Street on Small Business Saturday, and the sound of live carolers drifted out onto the sidewalk — the kind of thing that makes Downtown Fredericksburg feel like a Hallmark movie this time of year.

“These volunteer opportunities are a great way to make a meaningful impact in our city,” the City of Fredericksburg announced. “City residency is required for most positions.”

“Memorials Advisory Commission – Seeking representatives from fields such as physical sciences, law, religion, business, education, and the arts. Board of Zoning Appeals – This board hears administrative appeals, grants variances, interprets zoning map boundaries, and reviews special exceptions,” the city stated.
