City staff and the project consultant will present updates on the study’s findings and gather input as the team works to finalize project scopes, cost estimates, and phasing plans. Participants may drop in any time during the meeting to review materials, ask questions, and provide comments.

A confrontation in a Fredericksburg parking lot escalated when a young white male reportedly brandished a firearm after a traffic-related dispute. The incident occurred November 8 on the 2200 block of Carl D. Silver Parkway.

Parmelee will help participants identify what’s holding them back, make confident keep-or-let-go decisions, and build a plan for a clutter-free home. The Decluttering Workshop will take place Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Dorothy Hart Community Center. Open to ages 14 and up, registration costs $15 for residents and $20 for non-residents.

Firefighters from Fredericksburg and neighboring counties battled a commercial fire Monday morning on Princess Anne Street. The blaze damaged five garage bays and sent thick smoke into the air behind the old Coca-Cola building.

Crews arrived just after 10 a.m. and found flames coming from two garage units. They quickly deployed hose lines and cut into the roof to help control the fire. A dog was rescued from the scene, and no injuries were reported.

Each ornament costs $30, with proceeds supporting Fredericksburg Main Street’s programs, events, and downtown beautification projects. The ornaments are available for local pickup at the Visitor Center, shipping, or in person this Saturday at the Fredericksburg Tree Lighting — while supplies last.
