QUANTICO — The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation will host a sensory-friendly screening of Superpower Dogs this Saturday, Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. at the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

During this special screening, the theater will be dimly lit, the movie will be played at a lower volume, and viewers will be allowed to speak softly and move around as needed.


QUANTICO — The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation’s Summer Concert Series ends with a bang this Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. with a performance by the Quantico Marine Corps Band.

The Quantico Marine Corps Band, one of the oldest professional musical ensembles in the Marine Corps, has entertained in events from the Super Bowl to Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.


MANASSAS – (Press Release) The Creative and Performing Arts Center, Inc. (CAPAC) will bring an evening of musical delight to the Prince William County community and surrounding areas this summer.

Celebrating the smooth, rhythmic sounds of jazz, four acts will perform on Saturday, September 7, at 1:00 p.m. at the beautiful Mary Louise Jackson Amphitheater on the Manassas campus of Northern Virginia Community College.


MANASSAS — Write by the Rails (WbtR), the Prince William Chapter of the Virginia Writer’s Club, is pleased to announce the launch of an area-wide poetry installation entitled “Poems Around Town.”

The brainchild of WbtR vice president Jan Rayl, the arts initiative is meant to encourage residents and visitors to “stop and read a piece of literary art they might not otherwise even glance at, something short that will get them thinking in a different way.”
