STAFFORD — The Stafford County Economic Development Authority (EDA) has voted to create a new Business Loan Program.

“This program will provide ‘micro and gap’ financing to our existing and new business community. This program exemplifies the EDA’s commitment in to encourage business growth,” said Joel Griffin, Chairman for the Stafford EDA.


PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY – (Press Release) The Prince William County Department of Economic Development today announced $1.53 billion in capital investment and 227 new jobs in the Fiscal Year 2019, stemming from 13 targeted industry projects. The results marked yet another twelve-month period within which the county has logged over half a billion dollars in economic development projects.

Mu-Del Electronics LLC, a leading manufacturer of high-performance radio frequency and microwave-based systems, relocated to a $5 million custom-built operations center at Merritt I-66 Business Park. A move that could spur a doubling of the company’s local workforce.


WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center introduces a new procedure for dialysis patients which keeps them from undergoing open surgery.

Earlier this month, physicians at the Sentara Heart & Vascular Center performed the first minimally invasive procedure in Northern Virginia to create a permanent access for one of our patients requiring dialysis.


STAFFORD COUNTY — — Residents of Marlborough Point and parts of Widewater will now have access to broadband Internet service provided by KGI Communications, LLC. The King George County-based firm is the first company to offer high-speed broadband to this area of Stafford County.

WOODBRIDGE — German discount grocery stores Aldi and Lidl are expanding in the U.S., and now have a solid market share in Prince William and Stafford counties. 

The stores are aggressive in their low price strategy. Retail behemoth Walmart CEO Greg Foran views Aldi as a viable competitor


MANASSAS – Chantilly Air, Washington D.C.’s most established charter and aviation services provider, celebrated the groundbreaking of their new fixed-base operation (FBO) at the Manassas Regional Airport this week.
