The Prince William County Office of Tourism — Visit Prince William, Virginia — today announced its ‘Passport To Prince William’, a new digital passport with discounts to area shops, craft beverage venues, attractions, restaurants, hotels, and other businesses is now available for use.

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors is pleased to announce North Woodbridge TC, LLC (NWTC) will pursue the development of a brand-new, mixed-use development project located at the prominent intersection of U.S. Route 1 and Route 123 in North Woodbridge, directly across from the North Woodbridge VRE Station.
Royal Farms, a Maryland-based convenience store chain has applied for special permits to open a new location at Alum Springs Road and Route 1.
The company would be building a 5,100 square foot store that would be complete with eight gas service pumps and indoor dining which is typical of their establishments.
The location will offer online ordering and delivery service.
The developer of a new 30,000 square-foot wet lab space is expected to get some more time time to secure its permits, allowing it to quality for grant funding.
The new development, to be located at 11225 Assett Loop, near a Target store in Sowder Village Square, was supposed to have its permits, and building plans submitted to Prince William County by October 30. However, the project was delayed due to the coronavirus, according to county documents.
Stafford County will continue to lease a private space for the Stafford Royals competitive gymnastics program.
The county’s Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities Department has had a gymnastics program in place at this location, at 500 Nelms Circle in the southern portion of the county off Route 17, known as the Stafford Gymnastics and Recreation Center, since the early 1990s.
A grand opening ceremony will be held for a new Tru by Hilton hotel in Manassas.
The hotel is the first commercial operation in the Landing at Cannon Branch, a mix-use development on the edge of Manassas near the city’s regional airport.
The Halal Guys, a New York-based halal food company have opened a new location near Manassas.
“We are thrilled to be opening our third location in Bull Run Plaza,” said Khurram Burney, local franchise owner for The Halal Guys stated in a press release. “We’re excited to bring more delicious halal food to the neighborhood.”
