One person is in custody after a 19-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday afternoon in Lake Ridge.
A Jeep traveling on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge overturned at Malta Street.
Fire and rescue crews were called to the scene, across from BJ’s Wholesale Club, about 2 p.m.

Fire and rescue crews were called to a house fire in Stafford County’s White Oak section.
The 911 call went out at 4:39 p.m., and crews were sent to 45 Cannon Ridge Drive, just off White Oak Road.
Fire ripped through a home in the 13900 block of Shadwell Court, near Smoketown Road in Woodbridge.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 12:38 p.m. and found smoke showing from the rear of the house when they arrived.

Last week we were all witness to the horrific death of George Floyd. A senseless, brutal act against humanity. Once seen, it cannot be unseen. Like so many in our country and from around the globe, I am sickened. When will enough be enough? I support all who are engaging in peaceful, lawful protests in response to this crime as well as the countless incidents of injustice before it. I have stood with you in body and spirit and will continue to do so.
