“It’s been a while since we’ve had Restaurant Week here in Historic Downtown,” said Kristen Kiefer, Executive Director of Historic Manassas Inc. “Given that February is a slow month for restaurants, we saw this as a great opportunity to bring people downtown, support our local eateries, and introduce the community to new dining experiences.”

Pets

Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, is the final day to take advantage of free spaying and neutering for adopted pets at the Prince William County Animal Shelter.

To mark World Spay Day, the shelter has offered a special adoption event, covering the cost of standard spay and neuter procedures for all adoptions from February 21–25, 2025. This means there’s still one more day to bring home a furry friend while ensuring they receive essential veterinary care at no extra cost.

Seven-month-old Zeke has been growing up in his foster home, eagerly awaiting a family to call his own. This energetic pup arrived at the shelter as a stray, and despite his sweet nature, no one came to claim him. But that hasn’t dampened his spirit—Zeke has been having a blast playing and learning alongside his canine foster siblings.

Zeke would thrive in a home with another dog or a family committed to keeping him socialized. Due to his playful, sometimes mouthy nature, he would do best in a household with children aged 8 and up. He’s already house and crate trained, travels well in the car, and is ready to bring joy to his new family.
