Carol Margaret Shelton Godby, age 78, of Warrenton, Virginia, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at her home. She had been battling lung cancer for several years. Shirley Ann Combs, age 77, of Warrenton, VA formerly of Manassas, VA went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Brookside Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.
She was born on August 23, 1940 in Martinsville, VA the daughter of the late Samuel Howell and Nellie (Craddock) Howell of Warrenton, VA. She served as a secretary at the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Susan is survived by her loving husband Victor, three sons Victor John (Elise), John David (Katie), Matthew James (Lindsey), and grandchildren Cheyenne, Sophia, Lucas, Nathan, and Savannah. She is also survived by her mother Patricia Drane (Musin) and predeceased by her father Raymond Drane.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00PM Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia where funeral services will be held at 3:00PM with Father Devan Arockiasamy officiating.
