Claude "Chet" Heggenstaller, 90, of Woodbridge, VA passed on June 25, 2019. He retired from Cameron Station in 1984 after over 35 years of service as a dedicated civil servant. He served in the US Army during the American Occupation of Japan after WWII and is a member of VFW Post #1503. He has been a member of the Loyal Order of Moose for 53 years. He is a life member of Dale City Lodge #2165, where he received his Pilgrim Degree in 1993. He is predeceased by his wife, Margaret "Peg" (Galbraith) Heggenstaller; daughter, Claudia Marie (Heggenstaller) Donaldson; grandson, Earl "Joe" Rosenberger III; parents, Clyde and Sadie (Diehl) Heggenstaller; sisters, Euphemia "Sis" Kephart and Mary Cole; brothers, Gaylon, Gerald, Howard, Glenn and Donald. He is survived by three sisters by marriage, Shirley Stewart of Keithville LA, Catherine Galbraith of Alden NY and Lorraine Galbraith of Lock Haven PA. In addition, he is survived by four children and their spouses/partners, Julie Heggenstaller (Jimmy Wagnon), Jerry Donaldson, Mickey Dent (Gary Phillips), Jodi Fulton and Gary Heggenstaller (Rhonda); 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends and family Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. with a VFW service at 6 p.m. and a Moose service at 7 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22192. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home with interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society or Dale City Moose Lodge 2165 building fund.

Lottie Burkhart Horton, age 86, died peacefully at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Front Royal, VA on Thursday, June 27, 2019.

She was preceded in death on June 24, 2019 by her loving husband Rev. Lester D. Horton of 68 years. She is survived by her son Danny and wife Tonya of Haymarket, VA; grandsons Dallas Horton and wife Jessica of Front Royal, VA and Miles Horton and fiancée Jordan Castro of Raleigh, NC and one great-grandson Wyatt, of Front Royal, VA.

Beverly Kay Moneymaker, 51, recently of Triangle, passed away on Monday June 24, 2019 in Manassas. She was a long-time resident of Manassas City.

She loved music as well as time spent with family and friends. A highlight of her short life was a day at the beach with friends.

Rev. Lester D. Horton, age 89, died peacefully at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Front Royal, VA on Monday June 24, 2019. Rev. Horton recently celebrated his 64th anniversary in the Freewill Baptist ministry dedicating his life spreading God’s word. His life story was recently published in a book, “A Product of Grace”, written by Lester Horton with the help of Gail Clouse. Sadly, Rev. Horton died the day he received his copy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lottie, of 68 years, his son Danny and wife Tonya, of Haymarket, VA. Grandsons, Dallas Horton and wife Jessica of Front Royal, VA, Miles Horton and fiancée Jordan Castro, of Raleigh, NC and one great-grandson, Wyatt, of Front Royal, VA.

Mary Catherine Bunner, originally from Grafton, West Virginia passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 23, 2019. She is the daughter of the late William Richard Haislip and Hazel Virginia Paige.

Mary’s survivors include her son: Claude Richard Bunner, Jr. and wife Mary; Grand-sons: Michael Bunner and wife Carol, Mark Bunner and wife Pattie, Shawn Bunner and wife Bridget. She also leaves behind 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, as well as a brother: Kay Haislip.
