Joseph T. Leonard, 86, of Gainesville, VA died Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Capital Caring Adler Center in Aldie, VA,
He was born on August 8, 1932 in Scranton, PA to the late Thomas and Alice (Barrett) Leonard. After graduating from Scranton Preparatory School in 1950, Joe completed a degree in chemistry at the University of Scranton. He went on to earn a Ph.D. in chemistry from Penn State University in 1959. He married the late Mary Jane (Pugh) Leonard in 1958 and moved to the Washington, D.C area the following year where they enjoyed 60 years of marriage and raised four children. Joe worked as a research scientist at the Naval Research Laboratory for 37 years. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.

Roy Allen Muddiman., Jr, surrounded by his family who loved and cherished him, passed away on August 1, 2019 at the age of 91 in Winchester, Virginia.
Roy was born on April 4, 1928 to Roy Allen Sr. and Minnie Lam Muddiman in Warrenton, VA and was raised in Manassas, VA. After high school, Roy attended Strayer College and worked at Fruit Growers Express and Kiplingers. He was employed by NOVEC, a REA Utility Electric Cooperative for 30 years and retired as the Member Services Manager. Roy was an Air Force Veteran serving four years during the Korean War.

Surrounded by her loving family, Mary Ann Petrovitch, 89, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Kipikash, her mother, Anna Kipikash and her sister, Pauline Glacken. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edward Joseph Petrovitch, her children Edward Petrovitch and his wife Patricia, David Petrovitch and his wife Lori, Susan Howell and her husband Glenn, her grandchildren Mary Smith (Jeff), Christopher Petrovitch (Mindy), Edward A. Petrovitch (Jenny), Nicole Fisher (Michael) and Jonothan Petrovitch (Carolyn), 12 great-grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives. All who knew Mary Ann loved her and will miss her faith, lively spirit and genuine caring for the well-being of all her loved ones and friends.
