BREAULT, SALLIE LOU – 87, Of Lorton, VA. Passed away on September 20, 2019. She is survived by her loving family: daughters, Vicki L. Schofield and Lisa Breault, grandchildren, Christopher M. Schofield, Paul M. Breault, Stephanie R. Rodriguez, Ashley N. Shifflett, Michael W. Anderson, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also, Angela Breault and Katherine Winn, who remain “forever foster” children, along with over thirty more foster kids in her lifetime. Sallie’s love knew no bounds. She was preceded in death by her son, William N. Breault, and beloved husband, William V. Breault. Sallie was a hairdresser by trade, but a seamstress at heart. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 12th, 2019, at Gunston Bible Church, 10300 Gunston Road, Lorton, VA 22079, where memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at 12 p.m. at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, 6600 S. Kings Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306.


Richard L. West, 88, of Alexandria died September 29, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family.  He was born December 26, 1930 to the late Charles A. and Mabel M. (Shanahan) West in Washington, DC.  He is preceded in death by his children, Douglas West and Lori Ann Vanlandingham.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years Mrs. Barbara West; son, Gregory C. West; grandchildren, Phil West and Ashley Vanlandingham; and his great grandchildren, Haley and Charlie West.

Mr. West enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as playing darts, fishing, smoking cigars, watching football, and going to the beach.  He will be dearly missed.


Jane Brawner Fraley

Died on Friday September 27, 2019 in Henrico Virginia surrounded by her loving family.  Jane is preceded in death by her husband Edward W. Fraley, her parents Warfield and Rowena Brawner as well as her sister Elizabeth Elam.  Jane is survived by her two sons Edward Scott Fraley and his wife Laurie, Michael Wallace Fraley and Lori, 3 grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren.


Lizz Militza Larrauri, 48, of Woodbridge died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born May 26, 1971 in Panama City, Panama, to Evaristo and Luz Gomez. Lizz loved to teach Zumba classes, crafting, and her church Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Along with her parents, she is also survived by her husband of 25 years, Angel P. Larrauri-Olivieri; and her children, Liz Ann and Alexander Larrauri.

The family will receive guest from 7pm-9pm Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, VA 22193.  A Mass will be held 11am Friday, October 4, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 12805 Valleywood Dr.  Lake Ridge, VA 22192.  Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.


After a long illness, Joseph F. Harrah, age 84, of Clifton, Virginia departed this life to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on September 25, 2019. He was a native of Beckley, West Virginia. Joseph, “Joe” as he was called by family and friends is survived by his wife, Gaynel Lee Otey Harrah; his loving children, David E. Harrah, wife Melissa and Greta Bartholomew; cherished grandson Tyler J. Harrah; and was pleased to call Greta’s “bonus daughter”, Stacie, his “bonus granddaughter”. He joins in rest by his parents William Thomas Harrah and Hester “Hechoo” Belle Harrah and Sisters, Helen Lewis, Lucille Meadows, Alene Legg-Walker, brothers William “Bill” Harrah and Edward “Ed” Harrah.  He also joins his greatly loved Son-In-Law, Robert “Bart” Bartholomew father of Joe’s “bonus granddaughter”.

After serving in The United States Army, Joe trusted Jesus Christ as his Saviour in 1962 and found his calling into full time Christian Ministry. He Pastored four Churches over a fifty-year span and along the way earned Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in Theology.


Dorothy M. DiMartino, 88, of Woodbridge, died September 24, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 4, 1931 in Washington, DC to the late Willard and Lena (Tharpe) Merchant.  Mrs. Martino spent her  time at the Senior Center in Woodbridge, where she played Bingo; she enjoyed quilting and knitting, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sundino DiMartino; and her two children, Diane and Willard DiMartino.  She is survived by her children, Lena Bryant (Mike), LeeAnn DiMartino Whitehurst (J.D.) and Donald DiMartino (Kristen); 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
