Ordelphia T. Campbell Proctor, 89, of Woodbridge, died November 1, 2019 surrounded by her family.
A Life Celebration service will be held at 1pm Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, VA. 22193.

Duane H. York, 89, of Woodbridge, passed away October 31, 2019 surrounded by his family. Duane was born in Waupun,Wisconsin to the late Alta and Walter York. He was a veteran in the United States Army. After completing law school, Duane received an appointment as a United States Postal Inspector, for the United States Postal Office.
Mr. York is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bernice York; son, Andrew York of Redlands, California; daughter, VIcki Lambert of Atlanta, GA; step-daughters, Theresa Dischinger of Pica-Yune, Mississippi, and Tracey Harvey of Mesa, Arizona; and eight grandchildren.
Deputies responded to reports of a robbery at Savvy Hair Gallery near the Stafford post office, at 2612 Jefferson Davis Highway at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.

On October 31 at 8:08 a.m., officers were called to the area of Minnieville Road and Fowke Lane, near Caton Hill Road in Woodbridge to investigate a two-vehicle crash.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office will have additional deputies patrolling the neighborhoods of Stafford County on Halloween evening, Thursday, October 31, 2019, to ensure that trick-or-treaters have a safe night.
In addition, the Sheriff’s Office will offer candy screening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Stafford Courthouse located at 1300 Courthouse Road.

On October 30 at 3:11 p.m., officers responded to the BB&T Bank at 16541 River Ridge Boulevard in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery.
The investigation revealed that a man entered the bank and approached a teller.

Vivian A. Danso, 50, of Dumfries, died October 25, 2019 at George Washington Hospital surrounded by her family.
