James R. Hewitt, 72, of Woodbridge died October 23, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Patricia Hewitt. He is survived by his children, Nancy Miller, Patrick Arthurs,, and Jennifer Hansen; grandchildren, Patrick Sean Arthurs, Jr., Shannon Arthurs, Jacob Arthurs, Jonathan Miller, Tony Perez, and Aidan Sanchez. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Hewitt.

Stafford’s Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities wanted to create a program to make its staff more inclusive and picked up an award for its efforts.
The program, Stafford Connects, was designed to provide mentorship and job exploration for young adults with disabilities throughout Stafford County.
