Another convenience store in Stafford County was robbed overnight.
This time it happened along Route 17 in south Stafford, where a man walked in to a 7-Eleven at 5:22 a.m. today, displayed what the clerk thought to be a gun, and demanded cash.

Six of the eight missing goats from Stafford County were found and reunited with their owners.

Stafford County authorities are looking for someone who stole eight goats.

On Saturday, January 16, 2016 at approximately 9:00 am, Animal Control Officers responded to Equestrian Drive in reference to the theft of 3 goats. The owner reports that 3 goats had been stolen from a shelter area to the rear of their home. Also stolen were items to include a wheel barrel and a huff trimmer.

A total of 14 new fire and rescue personnel graduated in the latest Stafford County recruit class.
The men and women trained for 26 weeks for the jobs through various courses to include EMT, firefighter, and MAYDAY training for when a firefighter is down.
Ther was also extensive physical fitness requirements for the class, said Stafford fire and rescue spokesman Mark Doyle.
The new recruits will be used to fill vacancies within the department.
Investigators said more that 30 shots were fired outside a North Stafford apartment complex Sunday.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the 1000 block of Providence Street, off Greenspring Drive at 12:27 a.m. for several 911 calls reporting shots fired. Two cars were damaged from the gunfire, as well as an apartment building and nearby townhouse.
Investigators said they were searching for at least two people the say who fled the scene after the shooting in the dark blue 4-door car with New Jersey license plates. The car is possibly a Ford Focus and also, may have sustained damage from gunfire, according to a press release.

He gathered a group of friends, and they set off from Richmond at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8 bound for Arlington National Cemetery.
He planned to make it to the cemetery by 7:30 a.m. Sunday. The walk would serve as a "thank you" to members of the U.S. military.

A Stafford County Grand Jury indicted a man accused of shooting and killing another man outside a North Stafford restaurant.
La'Twon Marte Berryman faces murder charges in the Feb. 15, 2015 slaying of Mark Milligan outside Wings to Go at the corner of Garrisonville Road and Travis Lane.
Court documents assert Berryman displayed a firearm while committing or attempting to commit murder. Stafford County Commonwealth Attorney Eric Olsen had no comment on the case.

At least three residents in the area of Westminster and Picadilly lanes called 911 to report a large party, and then hearing what sounded like fireworks or gunshots.
"They turned out to be gunshots," said Stafford sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy.
Deputies arrived on the scene at 12:30 a.m. Friday to find a crowd of 30 to 50 people on the streets who had been attending a party. An argument broke out, and then someone fired a handgun.

A gas station on Route 17 in south Stafford was robbed at 6:12 a.m. Monday.
Authorities said a man walked into a Shell gas station at 535 Warrenton Road and demanded cash. He then walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash he had taken from the register.
The suspect is described as a black man, between 190 and 200 pounds, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing dark blue jeans, gloves, a mask, and a blue hooded sweatshirt with "Mossy Oak" printed on it, said Stafford sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy.
