WOODBRIDGE — Police captured a man wanted for armed robbery.
Officers tracked the suspect to J&J International Market at 16593 River Ridge Boulevard in Woodbridge just before 3 p.m.
LAKE RIDGE — A new Taco Bell will open just off Old Bridge Road in Lake Ridge.
The fast-food restaurant on Cape Cod Court will hire 30 people to run the store and will feature the same menu items as other nearby Taco Bell franchises.
DUMFRIES — A suspect in a shooting in Stafford County was arrested in Dumfries.
Stafford authorities said they apprehended the suspect about noon Sunday while he was walking on Fuller Heights Road. The arrest came in an operation of the Northern Virginia U.S. Marshal Task Force.

LAKE RIDGE — At least 10 cats were pulled from a burning townhouse about noon Monday.
Fire and rescue crews were called to the 12600 block of Dulcinea Place in Lake Ridge at 11:48 a.m. for a report of a kitchen fire.
