STAFFORD — At least one person was flown to a hospital after being involved in a dirt bike crash.
Fire and rescue crews were called to Inez Way off Andrew Chappel Road in Stafford County at 8:46 p.m. Saturday for a report of a crash involving two dirt bikes.
After using a gun to obtain an unidentified item at a pharmacy inside a Target store, the suspect shot and killed himself.

Murder Investigation *ARREST – On August 2, detectives from the Homicide Unit identified and arrested the suspect involved in the shooting death of an adult male that occurred at a residence located in the 14700 block of Arizona Ave in Woodbridge (22191) on August 1. The investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect were on the back deck of the home when the shooting occurred. The victim died as a result of his injuries.

Preston Woodrow (Woody) Bolton, 74, died July 29, 2018 of cancer in Manassas, VA. He was born October 3, 1943 in Memphis, TN, son of the late Charles Preston Bolton and Lucille Wilson Bolton.
Woody spent 25 years in government service with the United States Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency. He served tours in Taiwan, Ethiopia, Burma, Iran, and Belgium. After retiring from the CIA, he continued to support the government as a consultant for an additional 18 years.
Police worked to make a composite image of the suspect they say raped a woman at a Lake Ridge apartment complex off Springwoods Drive.
Rape Investigation *E-FIT COMPOSITE [See Attachments] – The Prince William County Police Department is continuing to seek the public’s assistance in providing any information in connection to a rape that occurred at an apartment building located in the 12200 block of Stevenson Ct in Woodbridge on July 25. On August 2, detectives and crime analysts with the Criminal Investigation Division worked with the victim to develop an electronic composite image of the suspect. Investigators, with the assistance of a Fairfax County police, were also able to obtain a sketch of the suspect’s tattoo located on his right forearm. The tattoo depicts an angel (correction from a previous release indicating only angel wings) and unknown writing to the right of the figure. Additional information will be released when available. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Prince William County police at 703-792-6500.
STAFFORD COUNTY — One man in police custody is charged with stabbing to death his brother.
Authorities from the Stafford sheriff’s office were called to a home on Clint Lane in south Stafford at 5:51 p.m. Wednesday where they found the body 18-year-old Latonio Curmon, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was found lying on his back in a pool of blood, suffering a stab wound to the left side of his torso.
DALE CITY — A man who allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven on Tuesday aparently tried to rob the same store again the following day.
Prince William police on Wednesday were back at the 7-Eleven at 14410 Minnieville Road, at the intersection of Cardinal Drive., where arrested their suspect.
