Fire and rescue crews were called ago a blaze on Winter Wheat Lane, just off Kellogg Mill Road in the county about 6 p.m.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On August 29 at 6:38PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5500 block of Saint Charles Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 54-year-old woman, reported to police that she and the accused, a family member, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim with a hammer causing minor injuries. The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Alyssa Ann EVERETT, was arrested.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 29 at 3:32PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15100 block of Arum Pl in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect attempted entry into the residence sometime that afternoon through the front door, which was found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.

Indecent Exposure – On August 29 at 11:45AM, officers responded to the area of Dumfries Rd and Van Buren Rd in Dumfries (22025) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 29-year-old woman, reported to police that she was driving in the above area when she observed an unknown man driving next to her expose himself and make an obscene gesture. The victim contacted police and provided officers with a vehicle description. Officers located the suspect sitting in his vehicle a short time later in a parking lot in the area of Minnieville Rd and Spriggs Rd. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Robert Nicholas GONNELLA, was charged.
