Malicious Wounding by Caustic Substance *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On September 26, officers identified the suspect involved in the assault of a PRTC bus driver that occurred in the area of Minnieville Rd and Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge on September 11. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Andre Jon RICHARDSON. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
An assault and battery case and malicious wounding case resulted in one arrest in Manassas. From the Manassas City police report:

There has been a lot of discussion through the years about extending Metrorail from Springfield through Woodbridge to Dale City/Potomac Mills area. Three main reasons why this is a bad idea for the residents of Prince William County include:
If you examine most end of the line Metro stations, most include similar land use configurations already existing in Eastern Prince William County. Limited non-residential development would occur in Prince William County due to Metrorail.
WOODBRIDGE — (Press Release) On September 26, the Northern Virginia/DC Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force concluded an investigation into the possession and distribution of child pornography with the execution of a search warrant at a home located at 11557 Hill Meade Ln in Woodbridge.
During the course of the investigation, which began in July of 2018, the accused was involved in the sharing of child pornography via the internet through an undisclosed peer to peer network. Multiple files of child pornography were determined to have been downloaded by the accused from a computer within his Woodbridge residence.
Good Morning Prince William – CASA Children’s Intervention Services is hosting a volunteer information session on Monday October 9th, 6pm at the Chinn Park library.
