Police are investigating an overnight shooting that left one man dead near Occoquan.
The shooting occurred near the intersection of Old Bridge Road and Route 123.
The old HOV lanes on Interstate 395 have been converted to toll lanes and were opened to traffic on Sunday night.

Fire crews extinguished a blaze inside a double-wide trailer at the Hidden Valley Valley Mobile Home Park.
About 5 p.m., crews reported the bulk of the fire had been extinguished and that all occupants who lived in the home had been accounted for. No injuries had been reported.
Update from Virginia State Police at 8:33 p.m
A Fredericksburg man wanted for questioning in a fatal Culpeper County crash has been arrested by state police. Earl J. Nicholson Jr., 38, was charged with one felony count of hit and run and is being held without bond at the Culpeper Regional Jail. Additional charges are pending.
A crash closed all lanes of Interstate 95 south just north of Fredericksburg about 1:10 p.m. today.
Those lanes now reopened to traffic.
The National Museum of the Marine Corps will be holding an illuminated tour of Semper Fidelis Memorial Park from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 15.
The path will be lit with luminarias to guide visitors and spotlights will highlight the many stunning monuments dedicated to Marine Corps history, including a statue of Marine Corps General Lejeune, commonly referred to as the ‘greatest of all Leathernecks’ and ‘The Marine’s Marine.’
