Escape from Custody – Officers are currently on scene attempting to locate a juvenile who escaped from the custody of a Sheriff’s Deputy at the Juvenile Detention Center on Dumfries Rd [near the Prince William County Landfill]. Officers have the immediate area surrounding the facility contained as the search continues. The juvenile was returning from court on non-violent charges when the escaped occurred just prior to entering the facility.

STAFFORD COUNTY — Fire crews raced to the 1300 block of Westview Drive to find a house on fire.
Crews were called at 4:59 a.m. Sunday to a single-story home in the Brookfield section of Stafford County, near Town and Country Drive.
WOODBRIDGE — On Friday, June 28, police distributed fliers seeking the identity of the suspect or suspects in connection to the double homicide that occurred on June 22 in the wooded area behind the 7-Market on Featherstone Road in Woodbridge.
The victims were identified as Milton Beltran Lopez and Jairo Geremeas Mayorga, both of the Woodbridge area. The victims were last known to be alive the night of June 21, 2019.

Fire and rescue crews were called to 1253 Mountain View Road for a report of a house fire at 1:04 a.m. Friday.
