Richmond, Va. – Democratic leaders and women’s right advocates sounded the alarm Thursday about three bills they said would limit a woman’s reproductive freedom in Virginia.
The wintry precipitation is mainly affecting portions of Spotsylvania and Caroline counties, by Virginia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Kelly Hannon says crews across the area have been mobilized to remove snow.
Slushy snow was reported on Interstate 95 in North Stafford just after 6 p.m. Sunday.
Counties like Fauquier and others west of the Potomac Communities are under a winter storm watch. But that doesn’t mean snow won’t fall on us Sunday. The National Weather Service states some light snow could fall in our area between midday Sunday and overnight Monday.
Western portions of Virginia are expected to be largely impacted by the snowstorm, as forecasters have called for more than six inches to fall in places along the Interstate 81 corridor.
North Stafford, Va. – Timothy M. Kaine met Saturday with veterans and local politicians at the Globe and Laurel Restaurant.
The former Democratic Virginia Governor turned U.S. Senate candidate kicked off his newly formed “Veterans for Kaine” organization that will work for his campaign.
North Stafford, Va. – Traffic on Va. 610 in North Stafford slowed about 3:30 p.m. Saturday after rescue crews were called to a fender bender at Eustace Drive.
The crash occurred in the middle of the intersection but no lanes of Va. 610 or Eustace Road appeared to be closed.
