WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Will he, or won’t he? If the look of an email sent out by his campaign staffers late Tuesday afternoon is any indication, he probably will.

Delegate Scott Lingamfelter, R-Woodbridge, Fauquier, appears to be putting his name in the upcoming Virginia Lt. Governor’s race for 2013. The staunch Republican who lives in Dale City is known for prodding reforms within the Virginia Department of Transportation, and recently made waves in the debate over now-defunct slush funds for Prince William County Supervisors.

LAKE RIDGE, Va. — Dive into the waters of God’s word and discover what it means to have deep faith. As kids journey farther down toward the ocean floor, Deep Sea Voyage Bible stories introduce people from the Old and New Testaments who show deep faith by depending on God, daring to care, claiming Jesus, choosing to follow, and changing the world.

The vacation bible school program is developed for students between kindergarten and 6th grade, and takes place at Old Bridge United Methodist Church from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 9 through 13. A light fellowship meal is served from 5:45 to 6:20 p.m.

STAFFORD, Va — There are 2,213 new high school graduates in Stafford County following graduation ceremonies at all five high schools this weekend.

Mountain View High School graduated 431 students in its sixth graduating class. This class collectively earned over 1.7 million dollars in scholarships. The Valedictorian is Cody LaRowe Brenna Walsh. The Salutatorian is Brenna Walsh Cody LaRowe.

DUMFRIES, Va. — A McDonald’s restaurant will stand where there once was a restaurant named “True Grit.”

Construction is underway for the new fast food eatery at the Triangle Shopping Plaza, where the Dumfries Police Station is located. The building that housed the old True Grit restaurant has been demolished which cleared the way for the new fast food eatery.
