WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Rescue crews were called to a man’s house on Cuddly Loop, just off Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge, for a report of an unconscious man.

But it’s what the man did when he woke up that caught the attention of law enforcement, police said.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — What’s the price of fuel these days? Apparently it’s too much for someone who siphoned off 300 gallons of diesel from a parked tractor trailer in Stafford County.

The gas was siphoned from a truck carrying cars sometime between the late evening hours of Tuesday and the early morning hours of Wednesday, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Remember the great derecho storm of 2012? Well, just a few hours before it blew into our region a fire broke out at the Potomac Nationals’ front office in Woodbridge.

No damage was done to the adjacent field where the minor league baseball team plays at G. Richard Pfiztner Stadium, but the team’s mascot – Uncle Slam – was toast.
