Good morning – The Greater Prince William Community Health Center is celebrating National Health Center Week on August 13-15 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. Volunteers are needed every day to assist with free health screenings such as mammograms, checks for cholesterol, anemia, diabetes, heart disease, depression, vision and dental to name just a few.
The event will include free car seats, lunch, and music and fun children’s entertainment. So as you can see, your volunteer effort will make a huge impact on thousands of individuals participating in this super event. Please visit: gpwhealthcenter.org for more info or call (703) 680-6524 to volunteer. There will also be a volunteer orientation on Friday August 9 at 1 p.m. to give you all the specifics to jump right in and help. Teens age 17 and older are very welcome and of course you do not need a health background to be part of this wonderful community event.
