William C. Hare, Jr. 85, died on January 21, 2014 at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, Woodbridge, VA. Mr. Hare worked as a Financial Officer for the United States Court of Claims for many years. He was also the President of the Woodbridge Chapter of the Jr. Chamber of the Commerce of America. Mr. Hare enjoyed sports and automobiles.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dolores Hare; his sons, Steve Hare and his wife April, and Phillip Hare; his grandson, Alexander Hare; and his sister, Joyce Ewansky.

Whitman (Joy) and their 4 children. Step father of Cindy Weare and John Weare (Martha) and their children Ashley and Melissa Weare. Dear brother of Marilyn Cellucci (Bill), Pamela Whitman (Stephen); and Carl Whitman (Rebecca). Mr. Whitman was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mason E Gough, Jr., went home to be with the Lord on 1/21/2014. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dolores; his sons, Mason E Gough III(Kill Devil Hills, NC), Steven D. Gough/Carolyn (Stafford, VA);4 grandchildren, Barbara Strawser, Stephanie Gough, Tamara Goode and Karen Anderson; 5 great grandchildren, Cameron Strawser, Willow Mitchell, Danielle Mullins, Kristyn Mullins and Zachary Anderson and his sisters, Ruth Daffan, Senia Merchant and Dorothy Crummit.

A visitation for Mr. Gough will be held on Friday, January 24 from 7 to 8:30 at Triangle Baptist Church. A Life celebration service will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 12pm at Triangle Baptist Church, followed by interment at Stonewall Memory Gardens.

Obituary for Elbert “Bud” R. Turner

Elbert “Bud” R. Turner, 76, passed away last Tuesday January 21, 2014. Elbert was born in Graymont Georgia to Lewis and Louis Turner. After a brief time in the military, Elbert settled in Northern Virginia where he worked for many years as an Electrical Engineer. Elbert was a Grand Master and a founding member at the Dale City Mason Lodge.

Evan L. Day, 54, of Woodbridge, Virginia lost his battle with cancer on January 20, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Day is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gail Day; his sons, Dustin and Michael Day; his parents, Clarence and Earline Day; and his brother, Norman Day.

The family will receive friends from 7pm to 9pm on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193. A Life Celebration service will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the funeral home, followed by interment at King David Cemetery, Falls Church, Virginia.

 passed away in her home  Sunday with her children by her side. Helen was born in London, England to Joseph Wesley and Florence Dolby. Helen met and fell in love with the late George L. Beucher when he was stationed in London. After they married they moved to the United states where they settled in and made a home for the family. Helen was known for her caring, giving nature and had a wonderful zest for life. She absolutely enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived and deeply missed by daughter Debbie, son Tony, grandchildren, Nicole, Brandon, Jamie, Shawn and Patrick; and one great grandchild Bella; one sister Dorothy and a host of other family and friends. Friends and family will gather at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, VA. 22193 on Saturday January 25th, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
